Lan Zhou La Mian - Smith Street

Lan Zhou La Mia

Open kitchen with the chef performing La main making process

Appetizer

Xiao Long Bao - Instead of placing a cloth, leaf is used instead. Spread with a layer of oil to prevent sticking of Xiao Long bao. The filling is juicy and fresh. The soup in the Xiao Long bao is tasty too.

Fried beancurd with pork floss - The fried beancurd is crispy and the inside is soft and delicious. Together with the pork floss, it really make the taste of the fried beancurd a whole new level.

Fried Hokkien style La Mian - Taste like usual hokkien mee but the mee used are La Mian

Spicy & Sour La Mian - Not for those who can't eat spicy food, taste ok

Pickled Vegetable La Mian - Plain but the soup is tasty due to the pickled vegetable. Slices of pork are added as topping.

Verdict: 3 / 5

Price: $13+

Quite different if you prefer something similar to Ding Tai Feng. Price is slightly cheaper too. But the taste is normal. I only find the fried beancurd nice.
